Bishop Brewer opens an eight day mission at St Mark's Episcopal Church speaking on The Kingdom last night and Holy Baptism as the entrance to the Kingdom tonight. The series covers core Christian doctrines with clear explanations and is open to all. Services start at eight o'clock each night with Sunday hours unchanged and the mission runs until next Wednesday.

Miss Mary Deegan elected last November as superintendent of Sweet Grass county schools quietly married Monday at Sacred Heart church. Father Carr officiated. The couple had a small ceremony with relatives and friends and will tour the West. Mrs Forward plans to continue in her superintendent role. The groom is a prominent Sweet Grass cattle dealer.

District court in Deer Lodge convicts J M Hall known as Mike Hall for disposing of a saddle to Edward Jenningson, with a $25 check and Royales involved. Hall receives one year in the penitentiary as the jury returns a quick verdict. The session also handles Richard Hale who is found guilty of attempting to pass a forged check at the Grand Hotel.
