Opening Crow Reservation lands as Senate endorsed bill

Senate favorably reports a bill to open about 1 000 000 acres of Crow reservation land in Montana at a cost of 1 150 000 dollars. Funds cover irrigation work, trust deposits, cattle and livestock purchases, fencing, schools and hospital construction, and a 12 dollar per capita annual annuity. 538 Crow Indians signed the report backing the provisions.
