Massive rock blast disrupts Big Timber road and gas line
A large blast east of Grey Cliff as part of Washington Construction Company work on the new interstate ruptured a gas line serving about 45 families from Big Timber and caused road traffic to halt from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Power and telephone lines were affected while crews from Montana Power, Absarokee and Livingston worked to cap the line and establish a by pass.
