Farm Bureau Meet Set For Feb 11
An interesting Farm Bureau meeting will be held at the Grey Cliff school house Monday evening February 11 at 8 o'clock. Speakers include Clarence Walton vice president of the Montana State Farm Bureau Mrs R G Ostgren president of the Montana State Farm Bureau women's association and Bill Davis western regional organization director of the American Farm Bureau. County Agent F B Peterson says the meeting will cover state and national Farm Bureau policies and answer questions for members and non members. Attendance is expected from Park and Wheatland counties and it will interest businessmen as well as farmers. The date change from Legion hall in Big Timber is noted. Peake will bring sandwiches cookies or cake.

Thomas Nevin, 76, died at Christensen old folks home after strokes. Funeral at Evangelical United Brethren church with Rev. Bott officiating and organ music by Rev. Botts and Mrs. Sell. Burial at Mountain View. Nevin born 1875 near Winnipeg. married Ruth Franklin in 1917. Survived by sisters Mima Kunkel and Mary Counter and brother William Nevin.

The American Legion defeated Lewistown Chips 54 to 47 on the home floor. Legionnaires led most of the game with a 27 17 halftime edge and a 36 34 advantage entering the final period as McCauley led scoring with 14 points and Townsend, Schneider, Johnson, Snyder, Furstenberg, Ellison, McLane, and Mailand contributed.

Exchange Student Describes Farming In Greece
H. L. Harrer, an international farm youth exchange student, spoke at the Community hall about farming in Greece. He described land size, tillable acreage, rainfall, labor methods, and village living, with slides of wheat sowing, ancient architecture, and local wages. A potluck lunch followed.

Moves and Studio Drapes Highlight Local News
Mr and Mrs W J Carvey relocate to the former Max Officers home on Sixth and Harris. Mr and Mrs L W Peterson move into the Carveys 708 Busha residence. Peterson works at the depot. The Finishing Studio drapes for Studio SGHS are installed as the home ec class made the draperies and painting, with drapes to be used on the stage to justify the club expense.

County Federation Elects Officers
The County Federation of Woman's Clubs met for a full day at the library rooms to elect officers and discuss business. Dorman Kellogg was reelected president. Eystein Birkeland and Frank Webber retained their vice presidential posts. Ed Adam and Arne Grosfiele were replaced as secretary and treasurer respectively. The group voted to buy a new incubator for the hospital, adding four tables to the Big Timber club rooms as gifts. Sunrise club hosted with a pot luck luncheon. performances included a piano duet and songs. The next meeting is June 4 with Big Timber hosting.

Death of Mrs. Clara Traver in Big Timber
Mrs. Clara Traver died at her home in Big Timber shortly after 1 pm from a malignant abdominal growth. She was assistant librarian for several years and resigned on November 1 due to ill health. Her condition had been critical for days. Funeral services are planned for 2 pm Saturday. service location not yet set.

Funeral services for Clemens C. Baily 81 died January 28 at Park hospital Livingston were held at the Evangelical United Brethren church with Rev. E J Bott officiating. Burial was at Mountain View. He was born November 5 1870 in West Virginia and lived in Ohio Montana and Big Timber. Survived by two children, two grandchildren a great grandchild and four brothers.
