Freak Rock Down Slams Car Near Drummond

Ove. 12. M. Dower of Nimrod was injured when a rock 100 feet above the highway toppled from a slide and shattered the plate glass door of his sedan as it passed at slow speed. He suffered severe cuts above the eye and on the forehead and was taken to Missoula for treatment. M. R. Gratiot, state highway foreman, witnessed the rock’s fall and aided.

Noted Nurse Passes in Lewistown After War Service

Miss Mayme Anderson, about 44, a Lewistown nurse famed for World War I service and as a legislative clerk, died after cancer surgery. She worked for the draft board, went to Paris for home service, aided Montana soldiers, and served in Belgium and Germany after the armistice. She was sister to former State Representative Oscar Anderson.
