District court in Big Timber meeting Monday adjourned to Monday Jan 7. Local notices urge payment of debts to the Gates estate and announce upcoming religious services and community events. Also notes on store openings hotel upgrades and railway and telephone central plans for the town.
The Home Telephone will begin service in Big Timber soon after delays. The company had planned October start but unforeseen conditions prevented it. By substantial extra expenditure and persistent effort, service can start earlier than expected. Don’t be left out, there will be only one. The Home is IT.
Notice announces a stockholders meeting at the bank office on January 8, 1907, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., to elect a board of directors and conduct other business. John F. Asbury, cashier, dates the notice December 1906. Also included is a local tradesman announce ment for horseshoeing and blacksmithing services by S P Harvey with Arthur Stewart as hired help.
The notice mentions Dr Wearn the dentist from Bozeman who will be in town next week with dates referenced elsewhere in the text.
