Floyd B. Olson former Minnesota labor governor died at Mayo Hospital Rochester at 7:30 p m mountain time. He was 44 years old and surrounded by his wife daughter Patricia and aides Maurice Rose Drs Hunter Sheldon and Carl Nygaard. The death ends a long public career in state and national politics and follows a battle with stomach ulcer and esophageal growths.
