Upland Game Bird Hunting Dates Announced by Montana Commission
The Montana Fish and Game Commission set opening upland bird hunting for September 17 for Mountain Grouse and Ringnecked Pheasant. The Mountain Grouse season runs September 17 to November 19 across many counties with daily limits of six and a possession limit of 12. Pheasant season dates and limits are to be announced after population data is reviewed.

New Church of God Names Rev. Tanner Minister
Rev. and Mrs. De R. Tanner and family of Mountain Home Idaho arrived in Big Timber last Thursday as the new Church of God minister succeeding Rev. Paul Seagraves who moved to Great Falls with his family. Tanner has done evangelistic work in Arizona since leaving Mountain Home and has been in Billings since February. The Tanners have four children Alora Get 18, Willard Jr., Linwood and Stephen. Tanner said he knows Rev. E Brentwood Barker well, former pastor of the First Congregational church here, now pastor of the Congress Dial church in Mountain Home.
