A cattle drive with about 250 head left the Cremer ranch at dawn en route to the home ranch about 25 miles away. The crew included Van Cleve Ranch ropers led by Spike Van Cleve and seasoned wrangler Norm Hauge. They plan a two night camp under the stars with Barbie Van Cleve in charge of the chuck wagon.
