Special Session Bids on Court House Lots Reported
The April 17 1897 special meeting of the Board of County Commissioners opened bids for a court house site. Harvey Bliss won Lots 16 to 20 in Bik. 9 Original Plat for 100 plus 1897 taxes. other bids for Boulder No. 1 and nearby lots were considered. The board adopted Hornbeck plans and set May 10 1897 to receive bids and award erecting contracts.
