Chris Tjaaland Dies In Norway
Hans Tjaaland received a cablegram reporting the death of his brother Christian Tjaaland 76 in Rose land Brynes Norway from a heart attack. He lived in Sweet Grass county long, ran sheep north of Grey Cliff, and sold land to Oscar Nepstad before returning to Norway about 1941. Three of nine children moved to the United States including son Bjorne in Butte and two daughters in Charlo North Dakota. he leaves a widow and a sister in Norway.

Voters Favor Both School Issues in Big Timber County

In southwestern Montana, a Milk Control Board bid to raise milk price to 25 cents a quart was halted by a district court injunction.
