Bror Edin foreman at the tie camp was in town yesterday. Jim Smith bought the Fields home. the Fields plan to move to Washington state. Floyd Norris visited Fall River basin and will move his cattle here for winter. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Beck moved from the ranch so Ona can attend school. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Olson and son Lester and Mr. Otto Hersig toured Yellowstone Park. The Happy Six Orchestra played at a schoolhouse dance in Daniel with a large crowd. Mrs. A. P. Sommers is now operator at the local exchange. Miss Marie McGinnis quit to attend school. Several families returned from fishing trips to Green River Lakes. fishing not very good. Mrs. Mary Murdock from the ranch visited for school supplies. Deputy Sheriff Bruce Cranor chased a Boulder couple who eloped. Mrs. John Ray returned from Rock Springs after hospital treatment with a need for rest. State Senator P. W. Jenkins and daughter Miriam left for Douglas for the State Fair. Miriam will study at the university in Laramie. Miss Wash Hodges taught at the Tie Camp then returned to Cottonwood to teach Nichols school, leaving for Cottonwood Sunday.
