H S Ridgely the Republican governor candidate and J W Crisman the state senate candidate will be guest of Jas Mickelson during Rodeo Days. The Examiner extends a hearty welcome and a cordial reception to Ridgely.
The new bank building near completion will use Alchard wood and premier fixtures. Completion is anticipated around the 15th, showcasing the builders George Duryford and Miller brothers and serving as town advertisement.
The notice lists multiple events including Quarter Mile and Half Mile races with free entries in some heats, entrance fees ranging from 1 to 10 dollars, and prize purses from 12.50 to 75 dollars. It also mentions Band Box and Bucking Contests, roping events, chariot, and a ball game Piney vs Marbleton, all with scattered payouts and entry details.
All is ready for Rodeo Days in Piney as Buckers and wild horses gather, track is prepared, seats built, and a large crowd from Kemmerer Cokeville Jackson Pinedale Star Valley Boulder Opal and beyond expected. Race horses travel from Pinedale Jackson Star Valley and Idaho to win prizes while broncho busting talents face Tango Cirle Nig and other sharp horses. The band will play tomorrow as Piney invites all to attend.
Regular meeting held September 3 with no quorum, adjourned to September 7. Present were Mayor L D Tanner and councilors McDill Whitman Chapel Absentias Black. Minutes read and bills approved. Whitman authorized to print three speed limit signs for city. Town Clerk Fe D up notes adjournment.

Mrs bh R Branson from Daniel visited Big Piney last week while the Daniel hotel in charge earns praise from guests. Anton Waeak left for Kemmerer to complete final papers and become a citizen. A man like Tony is a desirable addition to any country. Sesse Budi departed for Kemmerer yesterday morning.
Inerna Midaels with Mrs Harrold Thomson and Mrs Fred Graham visit this week. Lew Binning visited Daniel on Saturday. Miss Irwin from northern Wyoming visits her father R C Irwin. Arthur Jones plans to return to Laramie after summer at the Irwin ranch. Marie Guthrie and Josephine Bentley call on Merna Thursday evening. Mrs Joe Miller is sick with influenza. Mr and Mrs E O Miller returned to Daniel from spend with parents. Big Piney roundup arrives on tlurse creek gathering vemos. Mr D T Harrison aided Irwin teaching in on new Maxwell car. Ed Parmenter returned from business trip to tech and Idaho porte. Mike Nayhu back from Pocatello reports a cutpile beaming Geo Whitten, the picture man, will showcase his photos at Piney Rodeo days on Sep 15 and 19, with an excellent gue mechive.
