Local social notes and travel plans wrap up week
Mr and Mrs Joe W Murdock entertained neighbors including Mr and Mrs Elmer Olson and family and Mr and Mrs Den Chapel before the Olsons depart for Fort Collins Colorado to reside this winter. Several locals enjoyed antelope hunting since the season opened. Mrs George Nichols and Ian Spencer visited Pinedale for dental work. Salt Lake City visitors included Mr and Mrs Dick Wymore and Mr and Mrs F W Tenner Betty Budd and Lela Gurney. Marshall Gurney Lela and Joe plan to travel to Laramie with Lela staying for University of Wyoming classes next year. Sophomore class won the recount for most students.

Sealed bids sought for Big Piney sewer outfall and oxidation pond
The Town of Big Piney Wyoming solicits sealed proposals for 12 and 20 inch sewer outfall line installation and an oxidation pond. Work includes 1735 feet of 12 inch and 340 feet of 2 inch vitrified clay pipe, seven manholes, miscellaneous work, and the pond 380 by 380 feet deep average 3 feet. Bid security 10 percent. Bid opening September 20 1957.
