New Theatre Opens With Gala Opening Night
The Green River valley town hosted the grand opening of The Happy Hour theatre and amusement hall last night despite heavy rain. Nell Shipman and A Whitman star in The Home Trail, with the Lake City Four providing live music from Salt Lake and dancing lasting past 5 am. The beautiful box panel theater, built by A F Atwood for Hook and Hook, features refreshment adjacencies to Pioneer Drug, with Frank McDonough operating and Oscar Beck handling cash. A dance and another show are planned for tonight and Saturday with ice cream and soft drinks at the Emporium.
