Rope Save on Deck Ends Shipboard Daring Fall

In a July 1926 tale aboard the S. S. Cornelia between New York and the West Indies, radio operator Herman Wallin slips overboard after stepping into open space near two boat davits. A missing rope and a guest line save him as crew lower a rope ladder to haul him back aboard, with repairs and new lines set afterward.
