All Wyoming motor vehicle licenses expire December 31. Owners seeking their present numbers next year or desired numbers must apply and pay the fee before December first. Receipts of Local Forests in Wyoming in 1917
Fiscal Year 1917 net receipts from Wyoming National Forests totaled about 145000 dollars. Lincoln and Uintah Counties contributed 30600 dollars. Twenty five percent of receipts funded state and county road and school needs, Wyoming receiving 55750 dollars and counties 7650. An additional ten percent of net receipts was spent within the state for roads and trails, amounting to 14300 dollars.

Tom Connor and two nephews were bound over to district court for alleged livestock theft after calves from Big Piney Roundup members were found in the Connor barn at Halfway. The Lac Key Oil Company held its first meeting in Kemmerer this week to organize operations near Stanley and the Cretaceous oil lands. Charles Lackey is president, with directors including Lackey Budd Bunting Jensen and Mrs. C. P. MacGlashan. Salt Lake City visitors attended.
