Big Piney School Raises Funds and Plans Future
The Big Piney school raised over fifty dollars with help from outsiders after purchasing a Liberty Loan Bond. Remaining funds were used to pay a small school debt and the rest placed in the bank. The lemonade sale earned 5.55 dollars. The senior class focuses on grades while the grammar room seeks a mouse watcher. Hallows Eve activities occurred in primary, and a mothers club is planned. George W. Booker is current in town building a fence around his new Piney home.

Ghostly gathering at O'Neil home hosts and visitors
Last Friday evening about twenty guests attended a party at Miss Cornelia O'Neil and Miss Helen Stanley’s home. Revelers passed a candlelit entry guarded by effigies and a witch’s fortune teller while a witch poet offered keen insights into guests. A supper followed and festivities lingered past midnight. Several local residents were noted in attendance or travel updates.

Paraga and Wade to Lead Rally in Big Piney
Supt. Crabbe of the Anti Saloon League of Wyoming and Rev. Wade will visit Big Piney on November 9 for a large rally. Cattle receipts are normal in Big Piney Wyoming with prices for better beef steers cows and feeders up over ten days. For three days this week prices advanced ten to twenty. Prime beef steers 12.25 to 13.25 fancy steers 10.75 to 11.75 fair to good 9.25 to 10.75 choice weighty killing heifers up to 9.25 choice cows 8.50 to 9.00 butcher stuff 7.26 canners and cutters 5.75 to 7.00 Bologna bulls about 7.00 good to choice stock calves 8.25 to 9.25 choice 2 year old feeders 9.50 to 11.25 yearlings 8.25 to 9.50.
