Cy Kelly Ranch Sold to Whitman and Baum
Whitman and Baum, active buyers in the Green River Valley, acquire 4000 acres by purchasing the Cy Kelly ranches near Daniel. The deal closes Tuesday evening after negotiations by D A Baum and Whitman, with 3000 acres of Cy Kelly land, 1000 head of cattle, 100 horses, and 1000 acres of school land included. The total price is believed near 175000. Cy plans a summer in Colorado and Nebraska, possibly moving to Denver. The purchase adds to their holdings including Cleoplus ranch and Sutton ranch in the Green River area.
