Big Piney Town Council Meeting Adopts Ordnances and Budget
The May 1 1967 meeting of Big Piney Town Council approved amendments to traffic and liquor ordinances and adopted the 1967 68 budget. Officials authorized easement papers for Lincoln Service Corporation at the airport and designated the Big Piney Examiner as official town newspaper. The council also set job classifications for contractors, reviewed bids for fuel, and paid bills in the general fund and sewer and water department.

Piney PTA Meeting Honors The Big Picture Film
Piney PTA met May 8 in the Elementary school building with fourteen members attending. President Robert Cramer led the meeting and Mrs Earl Hays read the PTA prayer. The program featured The Big Picture a government film honoring the American Red Cross sponsored by Boy Scout Troop 35 shown by Dr E B Burgoon. Refreshments followed adjournment.
