Big Piney to Have Chemical Fire Engine
At a regular town council meeting Big Piney decided to purchase a chemical fire engine. The town has had no fire protection and the order has been placed, with delivery expected soon. Other notes include the death of John Payne of Daniel, a brother of Mrs Lena Gray, reported from Kemmerer. burial details to be announced next week. Scot Barber and his wife visited Piney en route to Thermopolis Hot Springs. C P Budd returned from Kansas City where his son Dan is improving after illness, though still recovering use of his right arm. he will be home in weeks. Mrs Budd will remain until Dan can be brought home. James Penninger, once a Green River Valley resident, died recently in San Francisco.
