Nephew in France Sends Letter Home From War Service

State Highway Commission Plans Summer Road and Bridge Work
The State Highway Commission will advertise for bids to build ten miles of road from Big Piney lane to Ira Bailey ranch and two bridges a sixty foot steel bridge over the draugh near Bailey ranch and a concrete bridge over the McDonald draugh. Contracts for bridges to be let separately and work to be completed this summer.

Leo Ball visited the Haddenham ranch last week en route to Kemmerer. Mr. and Mrs. Sanford working at the W. J. McGinnis ranch during the absence of Mr. and Mrs. McGinnis.

More Red Cross Work To Be Done
There is another demand upon Red Cross Chapter members for 125 children sweaters 300 pairs of children stockings 75 mufflers 250 men's shawls 1000 lbs of old icing and refugee garments. There are people in Europe suffering as much as ever since the armistice. If America carries out its humanitarian purpose we began the war and continues the good work. The last call for assistance is answered. Much depends on the Red Cross and without this aid our purpose cannot be accomplished.
