The summer reading program Western Book Trails opened last Monday per librarian Reta Carr. Thirteen children were pre registered. Participants received bookmarks crafted by regional artists showing Old Faithful, Devils Tower, Round Tower and Kiva at Mesa Verde, Independence Rock, Dinosaur National Monument, and Denosaur National Monument. Each reader got a tally sheet to list books read and the draw featured a Conestoga wagon.
