Regular session of the Town Council on June 8, 1964 with Mayor Davis Marshall Gurney Louie Triassi James Luce present and Francis Tanner George Earp absent. Noted previous minutes. Gurney moved notices of assessment for street work, paid by June 20 grants no interest, notices mailed or fees available at Town office. Town will not perform private-property work for District No 1 Big Piney. Clerk to notify Bar Owners regarding disturbances. Building permits must include plumbing and wiring data and be inspected. Inspectors Guy Carr and James H Luce. Requests to county for bonds Fire Department funds and municipal levy. Tomassi: Usad runway cracks must be repaired. HiWay dept to be contacted. Airport hazard noted. Respond to Gredon Mickelson and L. A. Wilson about grazing permits not allowed.

Five members of Big Piney Bethel 47 joined the Grand Guardian Council's 32nd annual State Session in Getly Wyoming in late June 113th. Mrs Wayne Bardin accompanied them. Three girls were chosen for special ceremony roles including Vianenne Webber Diana Near Kathy Hendrickson Kathy Nichols and Penny Bardin attended. Over 700 Wyoming girls registered. Highlights included an outdoor Cody Masons picnic and a Pink Garter Players musical comedy from Jackson. Father’s Day noted on Sunday.

Wyoming Game and Fish Department reminds boat operators that state and federal law require written reports for all serious boating accidents. Reports must be filed within 48 hours for deaths and within two days for other incidents, with fines up to 50 dollars for failure to submit. Forms are available through law enforcement and should be sent to Box 378 Cheyenne.

Fines Total $1,460 for Game and Fish Violations in May
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department fined 68 people in May, amounting to 1460 dollars and directing many to court for fishing in closed waters. The largest single fine was 100 dollars for hunting antelope out of season in Rawlins, with 75 dollars for guiding without a license in Pinedale.
