State Mill Levy for 1944 Set at Two Mills on Dell
The State Board of Equalization keeps the 1944 state levy at two mills, half the permissible limit. The two mill levy is expected to raise enough revenue to aid postwar reconstruction and rehabilitation programs. The board supports aiding returning veterans with credit or cash to reestablish themselves, anticipating expansion of state institutions and University facilities after the war.

County 4 H Club Meet Enjoyable Affair This Year
The Sublette County 4 H camp was held at the CCC camp on Fremont Lake July 21 22 23. After registration on July 21 the camp convened with an assembly and officers elected. Activities included kitchen duty supper singing a moonlight movie and taps. July 22 featured a bugle wake up a nature talk a lake excursion a fire fighting talk and a swim despite rain. Sunday service and talks followed the meal with a pieric dinner and thanks to Arnold Bolle for arranging the event. Many parents attended and plans for next year were set with farewell remarks and appreciation expressions.

Popular Couple Wed in Kemmerer
Miss Margaret Gilchrist of Kemmerer wed Gordon Mickelson of Big Piney in a garden ceremony at 2:00 PM on Wednesday. Gilchrist wore a white taffeta gown with a heart shaped tiara and carried white gladiolus. Mickelson wore an oxford brown suit. The couple plans a brief honeymoon in Denver before settling in Big Piney.
