Mrs Burr Budd entertained a stork shower Tuesday at Mrs Dan B Budd's home. Guests included Mesdames Arnold Whitman Joseph Budd their sister and father in law and family Mr and Mrs Philip Marinois. A heavy rain fell today easing the hot spell. Dr G T Morgan and Oscar Beck were noted visitors.
Ewing T. Kerr attorney general left Cheyenne for Washington to present to a Supreme Court justice a petition seeking contempt against Colorado over the Laramie river decree. The filing claims Colorado users exceed the 550 acre feet allowed and Wyoming rights are violated. Road patrol orders crack down on speeds above 60 mph as highway deaths rise.
