Timber bids eyed on Horse Creek site visit
Forest Supervisor C A Favre of Kemmerer led two Salt Lake gentlemen visiting Horse Creek to survey timber with a government bid in mind. The Utah visitors, linked to a major lumber and tie firm, toured the area while Mrs W W Luce and Bunton returned from ranch haying, and John Stevens retrieved a car from Big Piney Garage after a trip to Opal. Halfway residents Mr and Mrs Joseph Bell joined weekend town visitors to the picture show as tourist traffic flowed to the town camp grounds.
