Arrested on charge of threatening life
Judson Kitchen was arrested by Deputy Mills Tuesday night charged with threatening the life of Lillian Curtis, daughter of John B Curtis. Kitchen and Miss Curtis were engaged to be married last fall but parental opposition led to the dispute. He allegedly said if he could not have her no one else would, and warned they were liable to die on the dance floor. He denies a fatal threat, claiming he would die on the floor for her. The Curtis family intends to press the charge unless Kitchen leaves the country. Also notes a local real estate ad and a sidewalk contract awarded in Piney.
