The meddieal journal by Surgeon J. Tr. Fant notes Fort Senders barracks with two large stoves, kerosene lighting, and candles. Each dormitory housed about sixty men with double wooden bunks and hay bed sacks. The two-tier bunks were discouraged except when crowded. Flyway project completion is anticipated by end of January. Wyoming's 1963 waterfowl census counted 58,281 ducks geese and swans wintering in the state, about 9,000 more than 1961.
