Wool core sampling urged at 35th conference
Murray D. Trump of the Wyoming Agricultural Extension Service urged core sampling of wool at the thirty fifth annual conference on the University campus. He said coring removes human bias in pricing by estimating clean wool yield within about one percent. He noted Wyoming expects about 144 million pounds to be core sampled in spring 1949 and urged county agents to include three sheepmen each.
