School Notes and Valentine Activities at Local School
Mrs L D Tanner visited Tuesday afternoon while the Junior class began Blackmore’s Lorna Doone. Mr Osterhout visited Friday morning. Mrs Chas Lackey and Mrs Dan Budd visited the Primary room. The Grammar room contributed to the Syrian Armenian Relief Fund on Tuesday. Martha Jenkins led the Primary room last Friday and Monday during Miss Thomas’s absence. On Friday February 14 pupils in Miss Thomas and Miss Crelly’s rooms had Valentine boxes and the High School visited the Grammar room.

Beck to attend Readjustment Congress in Omaha
Oscar Beck of Big Piney appointed by Governor Carey as Wyoming delegate to the Trans Missis sippi Readjustment Congress in Omaha February 18 to 20. The event focuses on readjustment and reconstruction with Bolshevism as a key issue. Beck will depart Cheyenne early next week with his wife Mrs. Beck.

Funeral at Fontenelle for Emma Mason and infant
The Mason family held joint services at the Jake Herscheler ranch for Emma Hersch ler Mason and her two weeks old baby girl. The mother and infant died within days of each other after a Saturday postponement. Relatives from Big Piney and area attended the Sunday funeral.

Lincoln County Boys Returning Soon
Lincoln County soldiers from the forty first division known as the Sunset Division are due in New York on Thursday February 13. The unit left Kemmerer over a year and a half ago and includes six men from Big Piney Joe Stanton Loyd Wyman Omar Dailliare Loyd Smith H H Moyer and Budd Smith who was once reported killed but proved alive. Big Piney residents welcome these returning servicemen and pledge a warm reception.
