Girls Win State 4-H Honors Bound for National Congress
Three Wyoming girls win state 4-H honors and head to the National 4-H Club Congress in Chicago November 29 to December 3. Lorna Sims 17 of Lynstan Frances Doherty 18 of Patolla and Virginia Casebeer 17 of Jackson are the top winners. Sims earned the bread award for baking and will be guest of Standard Brands. Doherty, home economics award winner, has multiple 4-H projects and was on Carbon County 4-H judging team that won at the 1964 State fair. Casebeer, trip sponsor by General Motors, led auto safety tests and showcased You Never Drive Alone.
