The 15 000 float from Wyoming features Miss Indian America Michele Ann Portwood of Riverton and Buffalo Bill impersonator Fred Garlow of Cody. Portwood, a University of Wyoming sociology junior, is also Queen of Wyoming's Diamond Jubilee. The float, shaped as an arrow, marks Wyoming’s 75 years of statehood and is the first Wyoming entry in the parade.
