On Monday evening a moonlit sky showed a perfect rainbow circle with a white cross inside. A west arc joined, forming a huge ring across the heavens, seen as a sign of extreme cold and lasting weather, while some fear end times after the seventeenth of the month.
A severe storm swept the Green River valley from Sunday night through Monday. Winds from the west, described as a high gale, howled through the region until late Monday night and left temperatures at notably low levels afterward.
News from Cheyenne reports Jean William Rumach, two year old son of J. C. Rumach cashier at Marble ton State Bank, won second prize in the Leader's big subscription contest. He receives a 5 passenger Oldsmobile car and $200 in gold.

A three year old bay mare branded WC on right shoulder has been missing near Green River Lake. A $10 reward is offered for her return to William C. Chall, Daniels, Wyoming.

An Oklahoma City trial reveals how promoters using Great Western Guarantee Investment Company sold stock in five oil firms with promises of 100 percent, then 600 percent profits. Investors lost savings while promoters faced mail fraud charges. The piece warns against wild cat stocks and urges safe government saving securities and Liberty Bonds. Jas. P.
