The dry spell ends with rain forecast and haying delays. Jank Wilhelm and daughter Helen traveled from Horse Creek to Daniel in two and a half hours. Clare Bondurant guided tourists through Hoback Canyon, applauded for scenery. Several locals like Noble, Pape, Hanson, Lewis, Kenyon, and the Johnsons appear, with travel, visits, and repairs noted. Jessie Hathaway rushed to Piney for her sister, and Bowlsbys plan to Green River for field work. Fred Chapin and others plan or enjoy a fishing outing. A Windfield Kansas couple visit Herschlers as others picnic at Slate Creek Canyon. Rain and hay shortages persist.
