Cottontail Rabbit Season Opens Saturday August 26
Wyoming settlers learn cotontail hunting opens Saturday August 26 with a ten rabbits per day limit and twenty in possession. Resident small game licenses cost one dollar while nonresidents pay five dollars. Night hunting with spotlight is banned and shooting hours run from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. Landowner permission is required for private land hunting.
