Mrs. Buckingham Dies in Iowa at 84
Mrs. T. O. Beck received word from Iowa of the death of her mother Mrs. L. A. Buckingham who passed away March 28 from a brain hemorrhage at her southern Iowa home. The elderly lady had been hale and hearty until shortly before her death and was found dead at home. Interment had taken place before Mrs. Beck could travel east, and the community extends sympathy.

Last Saturday April 6 in Big Piney a national day marked by patriotic meetings and a Third Liberty Loan drive was observed. The town held a large evening meeting at Buddhall with speeches by Rev A Fawkes and Chairman O Neil, and students performed patriotic drills and hymns while committees were named to push bond sales.
