Wyoming Game and Fish names White state Game Warden
The Wyoming Commission received six J applications from the Game and Fish Department personnel and seven from out of state for the commissioners post. White, appointed to lead the department, has a long Wyoming tenure from deputy warden in Cody to district supervisor at Riverton and state warden in 1958. He vows no major changes and cites continued adherence to prior policies that built Wyoming’s fish and wildlife resources. White, born 1918 in Montana, served in the Marines, and with his wife Marion, has four daughters and lives in Cheyenne. The article also notes Thomas, named Department Interagency Coordinator in Cheyenne, later promoted to State Game Warden, with a biography including service as aerial gunner and university wildlife degree.
