Board findings on corn from Fort Sedgewick and related notes
In November 1866 Lt. Carpenter reported to Gen Myers on Colorado corn received for horses. The board found the corn dragged and largely unfit, due to rotten sacks and poor storage. A large elk hunting permit draw is planned in Grand Teton NP, running Oct 2 to Nov 30. Deer and other big game harvests in Wyoming reached 118,405 in 1963, led by Medicine Bow unit with 18,848 deer. Cleanup time is here.
