Valley ranchers expect normal water supply this season

Badger National Forest reports that Star Valley ranchers should have a normal water supply for irrigation. Orthopedic Conferences Planned for Crippled Children

Universal screening conferences for crippled children under twenty one are planned in Cokeville and Rock Spring Wyoming under the Wyoming State Board of Health. Sessions run May 4 at Cokeville Grade School 930 to 130 with Dr Gordon Whiston and May at Rock Spring General Hospital 100 to 230 with Dr Gordon Whiston. Eligible children may attend. physicians should refer new patients to the State Board of Health. Old patients require invitation.

Wyoming housewives may apply for canning sugar starting April 1 1945 per OPA Wyoming District ration specialist Loren Carrutt. Applications may be mailed to the local War Price and Rationing Board with Spare Stamp 13 from War Ration Book Four for each covered family member. Each approved applicant receives five pound sugar coupons plus one pound per person. limit is 20 pounds per person for the season and totals may not exceed 160 pounds per family.
