A 10 year old Saco youth Jonathon Young Gagnon was killed crossing Portland road after buying ice cream. He ran into a car driven by Merle W Cook of South Portland and was hurled into the path of a second car driven by Bonnie Alley of Cape Elizabeth. In other weekend fatalities Lawrence Coyle 65 Linneus died after walking in front of a Presque Isle car on Route 2A Dwight Crocker 22 West Gardiner died from injuries in a Gardiner crash Saturday. A hunting death rounded out the weekend with David Bellanger 15 North Caribou killed Saturday after a collision.
