On opening day of the Wayne Beckus trial for the slaying of Trooper Charles E. Black and the robbery of the First National Bank of Biddeford’s South Berwick branch, two jurors were selected and one challenged. John A. Crabtree and Chesley J. Foss were chosen, with Robert R.
