York County Wages Show Rising Trend

Special to the Journal reports a rising income trend in York County with 58.0 percent of households netting $4,000 or more after taxes, higher than Maine’s 55.8 percent. In York County 15.2 percent are in the 7000 to 10000 bracket, 30.5 percent in 4000 to 7000, and 24.1 percent in 2500 to 4000.

Justice Department Ends Trial In Brooklyn Spy Case

The Justice Department abruptly ended the spy trial of Russian couple Alexandre Sokolov and his wife after telephoned instructions from Washington.
