Thorndike man killed in Maine highway crash

Paul Work, 30, of Jackman died when a car struck a tree and overturned. Carl Davis, 29, of Brooks, was hospitalized with serious head injuries, while Lewis Higgins, 26, of Thorndike, escaped serious injury. Work’s death marks the 150th highway fatality in Maine this year.
