Planning March of Dimes pre campaign meeting in Kennebunkport

York County chapter leaders of the National Foundation March of Dimes met to plan a Monday 6 45 p m session at the Kennebunkport inn. Irving R Hirst and Gerald Nason chaired with Mrs Aline Fontaine and Richard G Lamb. Speakers include Frank Borda Edward Pert and Mrs Charles Mills as the campaign runs through January 1963.

Greek freighter Captain George abandoned at sea

A Greek freighter named Captain George laden with explosives drifted in 33 foot waves 300 miles northeast of Appon te.
