Memorial Day Observance Draws Large Kennebunk Crowd
A large crowd attended Kennebunk Memorial Day ceremonies starting at 9 a.m. with a program at multiple cemeteries, a 1 p.m. concert by local bands outside Town Hall, and a parade led by Charles W. Smith. Speakers included Frank Beard, with Rev. William J. Kelly giving the invocation and Rev. Robert Cumler delivering the benediction.
