Intruder Disarmed Outside Saco Gun Shop
A 23 year old former Old Orchard Beach man emerged from Kennedy's Tackle and Gun shop armed with a .22 pistol a .32 pistol and a BB repeater but dropped the weapons when ordered by Saco police. He was arrested and held on breaking entering and larceny charges with bail set at 5000 dollars. Police found a tire iron in his possession and the car reported stolen earlier belonged to Consolidated Rendering company of Portland. The incident occurred after a call from Erwin Kennedy reporting a prowler around 12:59 a.m. lodged through Ocean Park road authorities.
