Cary Sneider a Biddeford High School senior son of Mr and Mrs Allen Sneider won the regional competition of the 24th Westinghouse Talent Search ranking among the nations top 40 science students. He will compete for 34250 in scholarship money with top five nationwide prizes ranging from 7500 to 3000 and regional winners get 250. The New England region includes six states and New York with five regional winners advancing to the finals in Washington DC June 21 23.
Plans for a May Festival of Music at May School of First Parish Church in Saco on May 22 at 3 p m. Miss Franaces Emmons selected as May Queen. Public program features Fairy Tales and American History scenes with a Tom Thumb wedding. Proceeds fund a Pilgrim Lodge summer camp scholarship.
