Judge Sirica orders Watergate grand jury report to House panel

District Judge John J. Sirica directed the sealed Watergate grand jury report and accompanying evidence be delivered to the House Judiciary Committee for its impeachment inquiry. He delayed the order two days to allow appeals. The court indicated the material is material to the investigation but left relevance decision to the committee. Sirica plans to retire soon and will stay on as an active judge, with George L. Hart Jr. succeeding him as chief judge. The report was issued with an indictment against seven Nixon aides and officers.

Vienna Meeting Underway On Arab Oil Embargo
