Second Docking Float Considered In Wells
Wells selectmen authorized Town Manager Robert Littlefield to determine steps for adding a second docking float on the harbor westerly shore. Harbormaster Abbott outlined required permits, ramp specs, and cost around 8000 dollars while detractors urged reuse of an existing float. The board also advanced plans for six dry fire hydrants, discussed harbor sand buildup studies, and approved municipal actions on street sweeper sale, health agency directors, and traffic signs.
